Your Invitation to support the Nation's Elite Athletes
One of the initiatives is to offer individuals and businesses the opportunity to purchase a copy of the Invitation Book. The Invitation Book is a discount voucher and savings directory that can help people save hundreds of pounds on going out in your area. It is published annually in 9 regional editions. Each book is packed with a multitude of significant discounts (2 for 1, 25% off, etc) for the best local leisure, entertainment and dining establishments.

BAC Affinity Club
The British Athletes Commission (BAC) acts as the unified voice of all Olympic, Paralympic and World Class funded athletes, and communicates their views to the major decision makers within British sport. It provides them with advice and services to help them achieve their sporting ambitions, and enable them to successfully make the transition to life after sport.
The BAC is an independent, not for profit organisation, run by athletes, for athletes. By becoming part of the British Athletes Affinity Club you will be directly supporting Great Britain's elite athletes. Furthermore you will be able to:
- Have your business and logo listed on the British Athletes Affinity Club Webpage.
- Use the British Athletes Affinity Club logo internally and externally on your company literature for the year/s you are taking part in the scheme.
- Use the strapline "Supporting Great Britain's elite athletes through the British Athletes Affinity Club".
- Receive newsletter updates and editorials on the work of the BAC as well as updates and blogs from the athletes they support.
- Have the chance for your business to win a visit from an elite athlete.
- Direct a proportion of your sponsorship to supporting your local elite/aspiring athletes.
Membership of the British Athletes Affinity Club is £25 per employee (P/T and F/T), minimum purchase 30 copies (plus delivery charge of £3 per book).
Benefits for your business
Channelling £25 per employee into an Invitation Book will enable your business to absorb five expenditure items and still maintain your existing commitments.
- Your group's CSR policy is maintained with 60% of existing outlay going towards funding of the Elite Athletes.
- Staff benefits and motivation, the £25 spent on the book gives 400+ opportunities to save over £7,000, making your £25 go further.
- Sponsorship, the scheme gives the profile and benefits associated with sponsorship, but, from existing expenditure on staff benefits.
- Customer rewards, the same as staff benefits. £25 gift voucher (or cash) gives £25 worth of benefit. Existing books from £7000 to £13000.
- Staff subsistence, along with client entertainment, your business costs are reduced by a minimum 25% with the savings within the book.
