Delmonico is a calm and sophisticated culinary surprise. Artfully combining a café bar and restaurant with metropolitan American styling, its New England twist and clever lighting gives the place a relaxed and private atmosphere.
The cuisine is Anglo-French with Asian, Italian and American influences. Chef Tyrone Tippins insists on local produce, such as Smiles beer and Somerset Applewood Smoked Cheddar. Their dishes vary according to the season and are prepared simply. On offer might be belly pork marinated in garlic, lemon and olive oil or, for vegetarians, feta cheese, roasted sweet potato and beetroot salad with coriander. Sunday lunch carries its own menu with plenty of options apart from the traditional roast.
