The Clifton Hotels Group owns four boutique hotels in Clifton and the No. 4 restaurant is located in the Rodney Hotel, a Georgian terraced house that was a private residence for many years. The restaurant has been modernised but still keeps many of its original features, including a working open fireplace and huge sash-windows.
The cuisine is traditional and contemporary Anglo-French sourced from local, seasonal produce and dishes on offer might include pan-fried sea bass with a warm mixed bean salad, served on a bed of pesto pasta and finished with balsamic tomatoes or pan-fried chicken served with pesto new potatoes, green beans and a chilli white wine sauce.
The No. 4 Bar overlooks the walled garden and serves light meals both in the bar and outside.
