A very authentic Indian, well worth discovering, Ahmed's Masala Café is a laid-back unassuming café serving typical dishes. Quality is a given here, with all food cooked to order in the open kitchen using the freshest, GM-free ingredients.
For a taster of the favourites, try the mixed starter with onion bhaji, chicken and lamb tikka and sheek kebab; or whole stuffed peppers with lightly spiced vegetables. Mains include rogan josh with whole trout in coriander and tomato sauce; or the popular ""thalis"", an excellent way to sample a variety of dishes such as haandi lamb, sag prawn and vegetable madras, accompanied by pilau rice and bread.
